  2. Renaldo and Clara is fantastic. Really taps into the 'new American cinema' of the 70s. Then you got Dylan and his band in absolute top form. Getting Mick Ronson on guitar really explodes Dylans sound into something at the time was experimental, kinda wedges glam rock into Americana! Definitely more rocking and psychadelic than alot of the heavy rock and other bullshit of that time in the 70s.

    Todd Haynes essentially remade it in I'M NOT THERE in the same way he remade THE RED DESERT in SAFE.

  3. I'm looking forward to an in-depth review of the Matt Helm series ... the "Murder House" sequence from The Wrecking Crew remains one of my all-time favorite scenes of violent mayhem.

    And geez, did Dino as Helm fight dirty or what? For some reason, I recall him stomping a few of his defeated foes - I mean, booted foot in the air as he literally stomped down on them! Take that, Jer!
